Things like weatherproofing the facilities, getting survival kits in place, seasonal generator maintenance (as opposed to monthly scheduled maintenance), etc. Guest Alex Hartman gives the perspective of an engineer responsible for a group of stations to better understand their approach, and how they ensure seasonal maintenance gets done. Also we discuss the maintenance peculiarities that engineers in different regions may have to think about.
