There’s a lot of talk about the bandwidth and linearity required for HD Radio, but not a lot of discussion on how improving those things will greatly increase the quality of a conventional analog signal as well, whether mono or C-QUAM AM Stereo. In this session we discuss the things that are easy to work on – ground system stability and proper bonding techniques – as well as those that will require some additional cost and planning… things like phase rotation and lowering the Q of a system. Some of the items discussed in this session will apply in some part to other facilities, as well, so let’s talk Ancient Modulation for a day!
