This is a loaded subject – and it’s also one that can garner a quick debate on pros and cons of the system as a whole and the specific technology being used today. While we’re less focused on that in this session, we look at general guidelines for best practices, talk about different ways to forward, EAS insertion points, getting EAS onto HD secondaries and various topics along those lines. With the U.S. leading the way in EAS tech and Canada and other countries having various levels and methods for emergency alerting, it is an interesting discussion!
