David Layer is Vice President, Advanced Engineering, for the National Association of Broadcasters. Tom McGinley is currently a Chief Engineer for University of Montana – Missoula’s broadcasting department and has worked in the past as regional engineer for CBS and other groups. This session will dive into where radio has been and where we see it going – how hybrid/internet can factor in, what changes we see in terrestrial broadcasting, especially as current affairs have us mastering remote broadcasts and offices as part of the daily routine.
