Combiners and Filters apply to all aspects of RF transmission, AM, FM and TV – more in multiplexed situations, a bit less for single transmitter facilities, but every transmitter has at least a filter, at some point in the output chain. We talk about the different configurations, what needs to be considered, how much isolation we can get from different types of combiner and just generally have some fun with math!
