Hackett’s Cove, Nova Scotia –Nautel Regional Sales Managers Jeff Welton and Jeff Wilson have expanded their sales regions, with Jeff Welton now including the Eastern USA and Jeff Wilson including part of Central USA.
Jeff Welton has been in the broadcast industry for over 33 years, with an extensive background in electronics technology and customer service. In addition to his current Regional Sales Manager role, his background includes being part of the Nautel Customer Service Team for 17 years where he has installed and serviced transmitters around the world. Jeff was named to the SBE board in late 2023 and in 2018, he was named the SBE Educator of the Year; Welton has also been recognized by the National Association of Broadcasters (2020 NAB Radio Engineering Achievement Award) and the Association of Public Radio Engineers (2019 APRE Engineering Achievement Award).
Jeff Welton’s expanded region includes areas formerly covered by Ted Nahil in the Eastern US, who retired late last year. The Eastern Territory includes: Alabama, Connecticut, Delaware, District of Colombia, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Mississippi, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Vermont, Virginia and West Virginia, Wisconsin.
Jeff Wilson has been in the broadcast industry for over 38 years, started on the broadcast manufacturing side 29 years ago and part of the Nautel team since 2018. In addition to his Western Regional Sales Manager role, Jeff has a background in Studio Systems, Radio Operations Management, Customer Service and Product Management.
The Western Territory includes: Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Washington and Wyoming.
