Industry expert and long-time Nautel agent to handle Latin America and Caribbean.
Hackett’s Cove, Nova Scotia; NAB Booth W3042 –Carlos Avila Pereira has joined the Nautel sales team as territory manager for Latin America and the Caribbean.
Carlos Avila has been in the broadcast industry for 40 years, with education in electrical engineering and economics, and is centrally located to bring superior service to customers in the territory. His background includes the design and manufacturing of RF circuits. Avila has provided technical support all over Brazil and other countries in South America, including commissioning of AM and FM transmitters. He replaces Gerardo Vargas, who retired late last year.
