Sonifex Australia, part of the OnAir Solutions Group, are pleased to see another successful Nautel installation completed, with BAI Communications recently commissioning a new Nautel XR3 transmitter for TSIMA’s Meriba Wakai Radio 4MW on Thursday Island.
The project forms part of a wider broadcast infrastructure upgrade that has already delivered significantly improved AM coverage and audio quality across the Torres Strait, with listeners on Saibai Island, approximately 150km from Thursday Island, reporting noticeably clearer reception.
Congratulations to BAI Communications and TSIMA on delivering an important project that will help provide reliable broadcasting services to Torres Strait communities for many years to come.
