Nautel’s User Group Meeting at NAB 2018
[email protected] returns to Flamingo Las Vegas on Sunday, April 8 with technology presentations from multiple speakers
NAB 2018 – Nautel’s User Group meeting (NUG) will return to the Flamingo Las Vegas for NAB with technology presentations from multiple speakers. The meeting will be held Sunday, April 8, 2018 in the hotel’s third floor Scenic/Twilight ballrooms. It will run from 9:00 to 12:30, followed by a complimentary hot lunch for all attendees. There is no charge to attend, and attendees do not need to be members of the Nautel User Group. Advance registration is required via the Nautel website >
Guest speakers at this year’s NUG meeting include Radio World’s Managing Director of Content Paul McLane; Telos’ Hans van Zutphen, discussing an analog SFN design; and Wheatstone’s Jeff Keith, who will talk about AES Direct. Nautel personnel speaking at the event include Research Engineer Philipp Schmid, who will present real-world results from HD Multiplex trials at KKLZ in Las Vegas, and Jeff Welton, whose highly popular “Tips and Tricks” session has been expanded for 2018 thanks to attendee demand.
“Over the years, the Nautel User Group meeting has become the ‘must-attend’ event for Radio engineers at NAB,” said Nautel’s Chuck Kelly. “More than 300 people have already pre-registered, and we have room for more. This fast-paced meeting covers a wide variety of topics to keep our users up to date on technology advances both at Nautel and within the Radio industry.
