Nautel to Celebrate Radio Engineers via “Because Radio Matters” Promotion
Radio station engineers worldwide are invited to submit stories; monthly prizes will be awarded and the overall winner will be recognized at the 2019 NAB show.
NAB 2018, Booth N6031 – Nautel has launched a promotion titled “Because Radio Matters.” Engineers from Radio stations around the world are invited to share their stories of how Radio engineers are making a difference in their communities. Nautel will offer monthly prize drawings from all submittals received in that month, and the overall winner will be invited to NAB 2019 to present their story at the Nautel User Group meeting at NAB. The overall winner’s story will also be presented in the media.

Examples of “Because Radio Matters” submittals could describe an engineer’s extreme efforts to get a station back on the air in a disaster; extraordinary efforts to broadcast a community event or efforts to address underserved groups in a community.
