Nautel Schedules Summer Webinars
Upcoming sessions include the VS300 as an Exciter, Omnia Direct, and PUSH Radio.
Hackett’s Cove, Nova Scotia — Nautel has scheduled three summer webinars beginning next week.
On Thursday, July 25 at 12:00 Noon Eastern time, use of the Nautel VS300 as a transmitter exciter will be discussed. The VS 300 is considered by many to be the “Swiss army knife” of lower power FM. It is widely used as a main transmitter, a back-up, a translator, and in SFNs and translator/booster applications. In this webinar, host Chuck Kelly, Nautel’s Director of Sales will detail the VS 300′s value as a transmitter exciter.
An overview of award-winning Omnia Direct and how it can benefit stations will take place on Thursday, August 1 at 12:00 Noon Eastern time. “The long sought after goal of a fully digital transmission chain that doesn’t sacrifice loudness is finally here,” says Nautel’s Chuck Kelly. He and and Telos Alliance CEO, Frank Foti will team up to explain how this new technology uses a single AES-EBU cable to carry the baseband signal in digital form between an Omnia 11 and Nautel NV Series transmitter. Kelly says the benefits are enormous: a 100% digital path that finally eliminates the noise and distortion of A/D converters and reduces potential overshoots, while ensuring full FCC mask compliance.
On Wednesday, September 4 at 12:00 Noon Eastern time, Nautel and ENCO will conduct a webinar on PUSH Radio, the ability to centrally manage content and playlists that reside in a network of remote transmitters. To learn how PUSH Radio can dramatically reduce operating costs, improve reliability and increase localization, join host Chuck Kelly, Nautel’s Director of Sales and guest Eugene Novacek, President of ENCO Systems in this 30 minute webinar.
