I have tried searching the forum for any information on this with no luck.
I am wondering what use the “digital” remote I/O has. It being referred to as a digital I/O makes me thing that it isn’t just GPIO on the BD-25 connectors on the rear. Am I correct? If so, what would you connect these to? What sort of protocol?
The manual speaks very little about them.
My hopes are to be able to trigger remote inputs over the IP network using my Axia pathfinder software.
Thanks,
Addison

HI Addison,
Correct is GPIO. You can get tallies and send it closures to do things like initiate a reset or lower power or change the exciter input. Typically I use the AUI for all of this but we have a hard remote control system tied into the GPIO as an ultimate backup should we lose internet connectivity to the transmitter site.
