Nautel Announces Fall Online Education Series
Late November and early December webinars will address solutions for HD Radio transmission; FM, AM and international MW solutions and maximizing the customer support experience with Nautel. November 5, 2009 Hackett’s Cove, Nova Scotia -- Nautel Limited has announced a series of educational webinars covering IBOC injection levels, the recently expanded NV Series of FM transmitters, the company’s NX Series MW transmitters, the NX Series 25 kW and 50 kW transmitters, and a session on “getting the most out of Nautel Customer Support”. All webinars are free but require advance registration. Except as noted below, all webinars will be hosted by Chuck Kelly, Nautel Director of Sales. Sessions include: -14dB Digital Radio Coverage Solutions – Tuesday, November 24, 2009 In anticipation of regulations addressing higher IBOC injection levels, Nautel engineers will review the implications, challenges and specific Nautel solutions for customers who are weighing options for increased digital radio coverage. Two sessions will be held on November 24: 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM EST and 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM EST. Introduction to the NV Series – Wednesday, November 25, 2009 Nautel’s Gerardo Vargas and Nelson Bohorquez will provide a brief introduction to Nautel’s NV Series FM transmitters, which was recently expanded to provide power outputs ranging from 3.5 kW to 44 kW. This webinar will be conducted in Spanish. The session will be held from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM EST on Wednesday, November 25. NX Series High Power Medium Wave Solutions – Wednesday, December 2, 2009 With new transmission options from Nautel that meet the needs of facilities ranging from 100 kW to 2 MW, this session will discuss advanced features of the NX Medium Wave Series. Attendees will learn how to reduce operating costs and ensure decades of reliable transmission. Sessions will be held from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM EST (2:00 PM to 3:00 PM UTC). NX Series 25 kW and 50 kW AM Transmitter Overview – Wednesday, December 2, 2009 Nautel’s NX25 and NX50 include a large set of tools designed to optimize AM transmissions. Nautel engineers will conduct this fast paced overview of the NX Series including live demonstrations of advanced instrumentation and transmitter control. This session will run once only, from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM EST. Getting the Most out of Customer Support – Wednesday, December 9, 2009 Nautel has gained a reputation for offering the industry’s top service and support in transmission products.
