Hal Kneller Joins Nautel
Respected industry professional and digital radio evangelist is the latest veteran to make the move to Nautel. July 30, 2009 Hackett’s Cove, Nova Scotia -- With over forty years of radio industry experience, Hal Kneller has joined Nautel in the position of Market Development Manager. Hal will be based in Punta Gorda, Florida and will manage the introduction of a number of innovative new products as a member of Nautel’s expanding sales and support organization. “Hal is an industry legend, attending his first NAB Convention in 1968, and almost every subsequent show since,” said Chuck Kelly, Nautel Director of Sales. “I have respected him for over 30 years, even when we worked for competitors. His technical experience, professionalism and integrity will be an asset to our customers and representatives throughout the world.” Prior to joining Nautel, Kneller was instrumental in his role promoting digital radio as Director, International Broadcast Business Development for iBiquity Digital Corporation. Previously at Harris Corporation he held senior positions including digital radio business development manager, public radio initiatives manager and district sales manager. As with other members of Nautel’s sales team Hal brings years of hands-on radio engineering experience gained at WGCU, WGSM, WCTO, WPAT and five of his own stations. Hal’s relationship with Nautel also stretches back to his time as a station owner when he purchased a Nautel transmitter for WKII.
