Campbell resigns as President and CEO Halifax, Nova Scotia (July 18, 2005)
– Dave Grace, Chairman of Nautel’s Board of Directors, announced the
resignation of President and CEO, Scott Campbell last week. Campbell is
leaving for personal reasons after four years with Nautel. Grace will
act as interim CEO while a search for a permanent replacement is
conducted.
Grace served as Nautel’s President and CEO for over
25 years and has chaired Nautel’s Board of Directors since retiring in
2003. He oversees all company financial and operational matters and
will continue in this role during the interim period.
The Board has a robust succession planning process in place and will accelerate the search for its new President and CEO.
Nautel launched sixteen new products over the last 12 months including
several new HD Radio and DRM transmission systems for digital radio
broadcasting. Nautel has also been leading the way on cutting edge
broadcast technologies such as digital adaptive pre-correction for IBOC

“Nautel is in excellent shape with significant
momentum due in large part to Campbell’s forceful leadership," said
Grace. "We have a clear strategy that has us well positioned for future
growth. Continuing his focus on execution is my top priority."
