Nautel Takes Customer Support to the Next Level! Las Vegas, Nevada, April 15, 2004
– Nautel is taking its commitment to providing excellent customer
support to the next level as it introduces a basic RF training program
and online training courses into its service offerings. Broadcast Basics RF Training
Nautel’s Broadcast Basics RF Training Program was developed to provide
an introduction to broadcast engineering fundamentals for new engineers
and technicians with a background in digital electronics or information
technology. It is also an ideal refresher course for existing broadcast
engineers and technicians. The program uses classroom and hands-on
activities to explore basic RF concepts, amplifiers and networks, audio
path and modulation schemes, transmitter system troubleshooting, system
installation and site protection considerations, and antennae and
broadcast coverage. “After assessing the needs of our customers, we’ve
developed a training program that will not only help develop valuable
skill sets, but will also help our customers maintain their technology
investment and reduce downtime,” said Scott Campbell, Nautel’s
President and CEO. Online Training Nautel will
demonstrate its new interactive online training program at NAB 2004.
Users will be introduced to the J1000 1kW AM training program, which
includes a product overview, site and pre-installation considerations,
theory of operation, testing and adjustments, operating instructions
and component level troubleshooting tips and tricks. Over the next
several months, additional training programs for Nautel’s low and
medium powered AM and FM transmitters will be added to the online
portfolio. “Using today’s online technology, we are bringing the
classroom to our customers in a progressive and convenient way,” said
Kevin Rodgers, Nautel’s Customer Service Manager. |
