New NX25 transmitter offers next-generation features, digital operation and outstanding efficiency.

Hackett’s Cove Nova Scotia, Bangor Maine and Quincy, Illinois – Nautel Limited has introduced the NX25 AM transmitter, offering broadcasters a next-generation option for HD Radio™ and DRM^® operation at a 25 kW power level.

The NX25 offers digital precorrection, 2.7 MHz Direct Digital Modulation and industry-leading 88% efficiency. All NX Series transmitters are unique in their ability to add an optional HD Radio Exgine embedded signal generator card directly within the transmitter to achieve unprecedented IBOC signal quality. Nautel’s unique module-level design of the entire NX Series provides the best redundancy of any manufacturer and enables customers to interchange NX25 parts if needed with an NX50 or other NX series transmitter.

Nautel’s exclusive Advanced User Interface (AUI) is included on the NX25. This 17” color LCD screen with configurable displays includes real time impedance measurement, instrument grade spectrum and audio analyzers, IBOC modulation analyzer, module-level monitoring and control/logging of all functions. The AUI can be controlled by touch screen or via a mouse and keyboard; users also have 100% remote access to the NX25 via a web browser.
