Nautel To Host Annual Nautel Users' Group Event

January 21, 2005 (Bangor, ME) - Nautel will host its annual Nautel Users' Group (NUG) event on Sunday, April 17 ^th, at the Riviera Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, NV. NUG @ NAB2005 will combine theory and practical application in an informal setting intended to encourage discussion. Topics covered during the half-day event will include:

1. An introduction to Nautel's new 12 kW, 25 kW, and 50 kW AM Transmitter Series, the Virtuoso FM HD Radio Transmitter Series, and the Maestro M50 Digital FM Exciter.
2. A video demonstration / overview of Nautel's unique FM HD Radio ^TM adaptive pre-correction technology.
3. An in-depth case study on implementing HD Radio as experienced by Mike Pappas, Chief Engineer of KUVO, Colorado's first HD Radio station!
4. AM & FM transmitter maintenance tips and tricks from Nautel's Customer Service department.
5. Roundtable discussions on transmitter issues & solutions led by Nautel's design engineers and other key personnel.
